The Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is a vital part of our community. We support the businesses and organizations on the island and promote tourism to draw thousands of visitors every summer. However, we can’t do it alone! Help us out by donating to our events and other operations.

Friends of the Chamber
The Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce, is a not-for-profit corporation, for the benefit of the Kelleys Island community, and the enhancement of its business climate, prosperity, and attractiveness. As a friend of the Chamber, your donation will be added to the Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce general fund.
The 43rd Annual 5 & 10K Run/Walk
Put yourself on island time! Make it a weekend getaway! The 43rd annual Kelleys Island 5 & 10K Run/Walk will be hosted by the Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The cannon goes off for the start of the races at 10:45 am from Memorial Park. Participants will enjoy a scenic island route along the lakefront and will be provided with water stations along the race route. After the race, it is time to… stay, play, explore, shop, dine, and relax around Kelleys Island.

Shores & Islands Ohio Destination Development Grant
The Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a recipient of a Shores & Islands Ohio Destination Development Grant. This competitive grant program supports projects that enhance visitor experiences, strengthen tourism infrastructure, and promote economic growth throughout Erie and Ottawa Counties. The program is a key component of Shores & Islands Ohio’s strategic plan to improve destinations for both visitors and residents alike.
Funding from the grant has enabled the Chamber to invest in projects to improve wayfinding, beautification, and visitor services across Kelleys Island. Planned initiatives included a gazebo for informational display, a downtown photo opportunity installation, enhanced brochure and information displays, event and promotional equipment, and other improvements that make it easier for guests to explore and enjoy the island.
As a tourism-driven organization serving more than 140 members, the Kelleys Island Chamber of Commerce is grateful for the continued partnership and support of Shores & Islands Ohio. Their commitment to destination development helps ensure that Kelleys Island remains a welcoming, vibrant, and memorable destination for visitors while enhancing the quality of life for residents and businesses throughout our community.
